Common Problems When Starting Magnus Quest

Many players experience common problems when trying to start the Magnus quest in BDO. One of the most frequent issues is that the quest simply doesn’t appear. This usually happens when the character hasn’t met the proper requirements. You must be between level 50 and 56 and must have completed the Calpheon main questline.

If you’re using a Season character and selected the simplified main quest path, you need to finish Fughar’s Memorandum – Chapter 1 before the Magnus quest will show up. Another problem involves trial characters.

Trial characters are not eligible for this questline, so you need to use a regular character. Some players also report being unable to interact with the glowing well at Bartali Farm. This can often be solved by disabling PvP mode (pressing Alt + C) or checking your Karma level.

If your Karma is negative, you might be restricted from entering. Lastly, glitches like being stuck near the well or inside the Magnus can happen.

In these cases, using the Escape function from the game menu will move your character to a safe nearby location and let you try again. These common problems can be frustrating, but they are usually easy to fix with the right steps.
